Mixtape 2019

I began an experiment two years ago to build playlists of my favourite songs for every year. It began with the 80s and 90s, and then I sort of retroactively made them for this century. I’m slowly hitting the 70s but that music feels really far away for me, so it takes a bit longer to sift through.

These mixtapes are personal and subjective as hell and probably a bit corny for some while being too unknown for others. Music’s hard. I try to keep it to 20-30 songs per year but that number wildly fluctuates. I thought I hated 2019 but this one is 34 songs and I really love them all.
